If you’re headed outside Sunday, you may want to grab a coat.

Most of Tampa Bay woke up to its lowest temperatures since April on Saturday, Fox 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku said, and those temperatures are expected to be slightly lower this Halloween.

Unlike Saturday, however, Sunday’s weather will be much more pleasant. The showers and cloudiness from a dip in the jet stream are expected to be gone and replaced with sunny skies and dry air, said meteorologist Josh Linker of Spectrum Bay News 9. That sets us up for a near-perfect Halloween.

Linker said the temperatures will be similar to Saturday, with a low of 62 and a high of 77 in Tampa. There is no chance of rain, however, and a slight breeze will persist throughout the day.

“You might want a jacket if you’re out for a while trick-or-treating,” Linker said. “But you can’t get much better than this.”

The pleasant weather will stick around past Sunday, Linker said. High temperatures won’t eclipse 82 all of next week, while lows remain in the low 60s to upper 50s in Tampa Bay. The coolest day is expected to be Wednesday, when Tampa temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 50s for the first time this fall.

No rain is expected in Tampa Bay until Thursday, Linker said. Even then, the chance is just 20 percent.
