The sun will come out Thursday, but so will the sweaters.
A high-pressure system has built behind the cold front that passed through the Tampa Bay area Wednesday afternoon, setting up a sunny but cool day, according to the National Weather Service.
Things got a bit warm Wednesday, reaching 74 degrees by noon before quickly cooling. Today will be similar, but a bit colder.
Overnight lows dropped down to the 40s, but morning commuters should expect temperatures in the middle 50s. The sun will warm things this afternoon, but only slightly, as we make it to highs near 60 in the afternoon before temperatures again drop quickly.
Overnight lows will be in the 50s, but the high pressure should shift east Friday, allowing things to warm to normal, if not above it. The weekend should be in the middle 70s with low chances of rain before another cold front starts the week.
