Temperatures in Tampa Bay are easing back into normal values just in time for a rash of rain and unsettled weather to swing through the region.
Wake-up temperatures are right around the mid-upper 70s Monday morning, just about normal. Afternoon highs are also set to be around normal at 90 degrees.
It should, however, get pretty wet pretty quick right around lunch time, according to the National Weather Service, setting up a pattern that will last throughout the week.
A frontal boundary is making its way down to Florida, pushing the usual moisture ahead of it as a southwesterly flow brings in some tropical moisture. The boundary is expected to settle just over Tampa Bay and hold for a few days. The Weather Service said the pattern of rain developing offshore and moving inland across the state will hold through Friday.
The chance for showers and storms is at least 50 percent for the next week.
