Amy Hollyfield

Senior Deputy Editor

My heart is in Florida politics, but my job as senior deputy editor for news covers all of Tampa Bay life. Traffic. Education. Health Care. The Good Samaritan story, the unexpected surprise. I also work with PolitiFact and was part of the team awarded the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for national reporting. My home state is Michigan, but I've lived in Tampa Bay for more than 20 years, raising two daughters and proudly watching two downtowns grow into remarkable destinations. Underneath it all is my commitment to the Tampa Bay Times, a company that cares deeply about this community. As do I.
