I've been taking photos to document my life, family and friends for years. One day I decided I wanted this to be more than a hobby. Now I produce multimedia content for the photography team, manage our social media efforts, shoot daily assignments for news, sports and features and I am co-creator of a video series in which we try fun and unique things in the Tampa Bay area. My passions are deeply centered on family and good friendships. I love an adventure and I always have my camera handy.

Rays pay tribute to beloved sax player

MARTHA ASENCIO RHINE | TimesMax Pierre, 59, plays the saxophone outside Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, June 26, 2018. Pierre plays short, recognizable tunes for fans, usually at the end of the game, as they leave the stadium, in the parking lot directly in front of gate 5. Many of the fans recognize him as they leave, giving him the final score, or waving hello. Pierre ponders his favorite memory, playing for others. He said it was one gig, opening for Tony Bennet years ago in Cincinnati, before he started performing in the street.
Max Pierre was a constant during Rays games, inspiring fans to “bust a move" as he played his sax outside of the Trop. He died January 5.
