Barclay Square in Largo sold for $10.8 million

Barclay Square, a 99,000-square-foot shopping center in Largo, has been sold for $10.8 million. The center is anchored by a 42,000-square-foot Walmart Neighborhood Market and has a mix of other stores and restaurants, including Tuesday Morning, Beef 'O' Brady's, H&R Block and Goodyear Tires. Located at Walsingham and Indian Rocks roads, Barclay Square was built in 1988 and renovated in 2008. It is 82 percent leased. It was bought by an affiliate of the Palm Beach-based Sterling Organization, which owns about 5 million square feet of retail and commercial real estate. The Shopping Center Group represented the seller, EDENS, which owns shopping centers throughout the East Coast.
