The Miami Dolphins Sunday joined two other teams making contract offers to free-agent cornerback Deion Sanders. "We don't have any comment other than to say there is a proposal on the table now," coach Don Shula said following a meeting involving owner H. Wayne Huizenga. Sanders' agent, Eugene Parker, did not return phone calls. On Saturday, Parker said at least two teams had made offers to Sanders. Sanders has said he hopes to choose a team by today. The Dolphins' offer was delayed while they tried to figure how to fit Sanders under the salary cap. The team faces the prospect of having to waive or release one or two important players. Speculation has focused on receiver Mark Ingram and tight end Keith Jackson. Detroit coach Wayne Fontes told The Detroit News the Lions also were interested in Sanders. "We're calling him just to see where he stands and what he's looking for," Fontes said. Around the league Oilers: Bucky Richardson was named second-string quarterback ahead of Sean Salisbury.
