The head custodian at Eisenhower Middle School is the 13th finalist for the 2019 Excellence in Education awards in Hillsborough County.
Aymee Carbon Mejias, 49, has worked for the school district since 2010. She is one of four finalists for Support Employee of the Year.
The leading support employee, diversity employee and Teacher of the Year will be named Jan. 24.
