TAMPA — A 68-year-old Tampa man faces a charge of first-degree murder following his arrest Monday in the September death of an Osceola County woman.Evidence from the crime scene led officers to James Jackson, police said.According to police, the body of 35-year-old Diana Medina was found behind bushes in the southeast corner of W Spruce Street and N Oregon Ave. on Sept. 26. Medina was strangled to death. She was also stabbed multiple times, according to police. Jackson — who police said knew the victim — was arrested on unrelated drug charges two weeks after the homicide and spent the last several months in jail before his arrest Monday.He is being held without bail at the Hillsborough County Jail.
