Fans wanting to celebrate the Lightning’s Stanley Cup championship can do so Wednesday at socially distanced events along the Tampa Riverwalk and at Raymond James Stadium.
A boat parade will be held at 5 p.m. at the City of Tampa Riverwalk/Hillsborough River. Fans are encouraged to gather along the downtown Riverwalk, exercising proper social-distancing guidelines, including the wearing of face coverings.
A fan rally will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. A Lightning spokesman said there would be about 15,000 fans at the event.
Both the boat parade and celebration at the stadium will be televised live on Fox Sports Sun.
Tickets for the free celebration at Raymond James Stadium can be claimed at Ticketmaster.com, beginning Tuesday at 1 p.m. Tickets will be mobile only.
There will be free parking, beginning at 5:30. Doors to the stadium will open at 6:30.
All social distancing guidelines for Raymond James Stadium will be in effect. Socially distant pod seating will apply, with groups available for 1-6 people.
