You’ll have to stock up on vodka and tomato juice to enjoy a Bloody Mary on your own later this month.The Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival, originally scheduled for April 26, has been postponed due to the coronavirus. The annual celebration of the iconic brunch cocktail will now take place at the Tampa Garden Club sometime in the fall.According to the postponement announcement sent out by Big City Events, the local production company behind the festival, a new date is on the way.“In an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will be postponing the Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival to the Fall. A new date will be announced soon,” the announcement said. “Please hold onto your tickets! All tickets will be valid for the new rescheduled date.”The Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival is one of several gatherings that Big City Events hosts in Tampa throughout the year. Others include the Summer of Rum Festival and the Tampa Bay Margarita Festival, which is planned for Julian B.
