A native Texan who has fallen in love with this side of the Gulf of Mexico, I have always been fascinated by the universal language of food. I'm a hospitality veteran informed by 25 years of experience, who caught the bug for journalism writing and editing at Austin Community College’s newspaper The Accent. Since, I have written for Kirkus Reviews, the Austin American-Statesman and most recently the Food section at The Austin Chronicle. In my downtime I’m at the beach with my partner, cycling around Tampa or checking out a spot I’ve never been to. I’m always curious to hear what’s going on in your neighborhood.
